Preston Drum has been awarded a 2018 Minnesota State Arts Board Initiative Grant

With these funds we are developing an interactive installation that will be debuted at Casket Arts Building on November 2, 2018. During the weekend of this premiere we will be hosting a long running activation and performance entitled “Long Scene”. Guests performers and audience members will be encouraged to engage with the artwork and enter the world of Public Access Television.

Preston Drum Studios and PDS Public Television in association with the Casket Arts Building, present, "LONG SCENE", an interactive art installation inspired by public access television. Featuring live performances by guest artists and opportunities for the public to collaborate in the production of "TV" shows.

A live 3 day event corresponding with Casket Arts' annual Open Casket Studio Art Show . The installation will be activated with a variety of original programming each day on Friday Nov. 2 (5-10pm), Saturday Nov. 3 (Noon-8pm) & Sunday Nov. 4 (Noon-5pm)
